Methodist Charles Wesley academic program tightly adheres to Indonesia’s national school-based curriculum and K-13/Kurikulum Merdeka with the marking guidelines based on the student’s knowledge, accumulation of skills, attitude as well as their characters.
Methodist Charles Wesley possesses the flexibility to adopt both national and international curricula. The international curriculum includes Mathematics, English, Science, and Chinese which have been thoroughly designed in accordance with the international curriculum policy. Expectantly, it will manage and prepare the students who are planning to study abroad.
We are chiefly concerned to ensure the application of best practices in education within our academic programs. The staff and teachers are not only continuously motivated to apply those practices, but they are also being trained to adapt their teaching strategies/practices to students’ needs.
We actively examine and proceed some of the best practice in education in terms of the curriculum policy. Therefore, the education system in Methodist Charles Wesley School has adequately fulfilled the national expectation and requirements by maintaining both students’ characters and academic performances.
In Methodist Charles Wesley, after-school activities are highly encouraged in response to our students’ enthusiasm in both deepening their knowledge and exploring new sets of skills by offering students a variety of educational clubs / co-curricular activities.

Our teaching force consists of individuals coming from specialized academic backgrounds that directly align with the subjects they are in charge of. With a total of 33 teachers, 14 of whom have attained Master Degree in their respective subjects. In Methodist Charles Wesley, teachers are nurtured to provide Holistic approach and work as a community, in which every action should align and be in accordance with the vision and mission of the school.

As of today, our students’ achievements are not only remarked by their in-school trophies from winning competitions but also the increasing records of their enrollment to prestigious universities all over the world starting from Indonesia, Singapore, Taiwan, China, France, and many others with some receiving various scholarships upon their acceptance. In the beginning of 2020, one of our students managed to attain the student exchange program in City College Plymouth, United Kingdom.
